Our Educational Director then uses the assessment results, along with input from you and your child, to develop a learning plan—an educational prescription—to remedy his Skill Gaps. The plan is tailored to your child's specific needs. Since no two children are alike, no two learning plans are identical. Maybe your child's plan includes "remediation"—correcting deficiencies from previous grades. In the classroom, the teacher can't "back up" to teach skills your child may have missed in earlier grades. We can! We Continually Monitor Your Child's Progress
As your child moves through her learning program, we continually adjust her prescription, based on her performance—and input from you and your child's Sylvan Online teachers. We'll keep you informed and involved every step of the way. After each 36-hour learning segment, we'll measure your child's progress and give you a Progress Assessment.
